Week 7 March 15-21


This week we created an advertisement using flipcams and iMovie.

1. We worked on making advertisements about a new technology that isn't invented yet. We used flipcams to film them and edited them using iMovie.

2. We used functions such as titles, subtitles, music, visual effects, and so on. It was easy to use.

3. iMovie has a very user-friendly interface. It makes it easy for people to use, and has a lot of nice functions compared to movie maker.

4. I would probably use it in my classroom because it is simple and less of a headache. Whenever I need to create video clips or other times. One time would be to create a compilation of class activities at the end of the year.

5. The flip cam was easy to use, and had decent quality and long lasting battery life. It was also spacey, but it could not pause. It was also not that good interface-wise.

6. I would rate this assignment as a 7/10. It was a pretty good assignment.

Week 6 March 8-14


This week we made an online quiz.

1. We made an online quiz by choosing on two topics. We had to choose a topic about the sun or cats, and went to quizyourfriends.com.

2. This was helpful because it was a simple way for creating quizzes online. This allows students not to be restricted to quizzes inside the classroom.

3. I could use my blog to post links and things like that for the quiz.

4. This would be a 8/10. It was nice and easy, but some more features and interfaces could be added.

Week 5 March 1-7



Today we used pixton to create a comic about educational technology.

1. We made our own comic using pixton and we based our comic on technological literacy. It was an easy way to create comic strips.

2. It was helpful because it showed me a new dimension to teaching.

3. I can use this as a gallery for my work.
